What we achieved in August
- Completed construction of widened sections of B1180, including surfacing and kerbing
- Cleared the existing west-side ditch along B1180
- Installed street lighting ducts/chambers on B1180
- Topsoiled the verges
- Completed the reinforced road base on the north side of A16
- Laid kerbs on north and south sides of the A16
What鈥檚 happening in September
- Lay road markings / install vehicle restraining system / additional works to B1180
- Open B1180 to traffic
- Surface the widened sections of A16 North and South
- Install vehicle restraining system on the north and south sides of A16
- Install narrowed lanes and begin work in the existing circular island
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- 24/7 closure of B1180 until mid-September
- Ongoing narrowed lanes along the south and the north approaches of the roundabout
Upcoming traffic restrictions
- Re-open the B1180 to traffic
- Narrowed lanes on the northbound at the roundabout approach and departure / B1180 entry and departure / new circular island
