Mondays

Incredible Years Baby (0 to 12 months) starting 9 September

This parenting programme covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0-6 months old. OWL Babies under 1s 

Babies explore their environment through their senses which are vital for early brain development. These sessions will include discussions around baby’s brain development, the benefits of being outside, sensory play activities, singing and sharing books.

Tuesdays

Learning Together Babies under 1s - starting 3 September - no session on 17 September

The session features a ‘talk time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their babies’ learning, together. With a range of activities such as treasure baskets, messy play, singing songs and sharing books.

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Wednesdays

Moving on Up! 0 to 5 years

This session offers a range of fun activities to support children developing their independence and social skills through play.

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

The Early Days 

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Opportunities to meet other new parents, take part in activities such as singing, sharing books and provide mini taster activities, sharing with you what might be on offer in your local Children’s Centre.

Little Explorers 0 to 5 years - at Heckington Children's Centre

A sensory play session encouraging children to explore a range of messy play activities such as water, sand, crafts, gloop and play dough.

Time to Play

Early Support and Learning Provision, providing opportunities for children with disabilities or complex medical needs to learn and explore through play independently, whilst providing a short break for their parent and carer.

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.
