Big Cook, Little Cook 0 to 5 years 

Children and parents will work together to prepare nutritious food. There will be lots of chopping, mixing, stirring, measuring and following a recipe.

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Incredible Years Toddler (1-3 years) - starts 10 September - No session 17 September

This 13-week parenting programme is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For parents with children aged 1-3 years. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course.

Sessions will offer activities to encourage babies to grow and learn through treasure baskets, messy play, singing and sharing stories.

Top Tips for Babies 3 to 4 months  - first Tuesday of every month only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the .


Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.
