Paying the balance for your marriage or civil partnership ceremony and pre-ordering your marriage or civil partnership certificate online is quick and easy.
You must pay the ceremony fee in full at least three months before your ceremony to secure your booking. You will need the following information to submit your payment:
- Your ceremony reference number
- Date and time of the ceremony as shown on your booking confirmation
- The email address used when you made your booking
We cannot accept payments in instalments. The balance is payable in full three months before your ceremony.
Your ceremony may be cancelled if we do not receive payment in time.
What happens next
Once payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation. We will contact you if we require any further information.
Any pre-ordered certificate will be posted within seven working days of the ceremony taking place.
